The Nature Trail at the Charles and Motee Rogers Bushland Reserve is a low impact short bush walk in Highfields, South East Queensland.
Entry Location: Enter the Nature Trail at the Charles and Motee Rogers Bushland Reserve Sign at 3 Community Court Highfields. At the entrance you will find a copy of the brochure outlining the 10 original points of interest through throughout the walk. The Nature Trail winds through the reserve and consists of a crushed blue-metal bush path the meanders through the trees and undergrowth and finishes on Rogers Drive, a short walk from where the walk started.
Short Walk Length: From the walk start at 3 Community Court, the walk winds around the edges of the reserve and finishes at Rogers Drv, where you follow a footpath back to reserve entrance. The walk length is 1.2km
Wheelchair Access: The reserve path is made from crushed blue-metal gravel and while the path is relatively flat, it may not be suitable for all wheelchair types.
Parking: Ample car parking is available across from the reserve at the Car-Park for the Highfields Recreational Centre.
Toilets: Public Toilets are located next to the reserve inside the Highfields Recreational Centre during opening hours.
Drinking Fountains: There are not any drinking fountains provided throughout the reserve so it is advised that you bring your own water before venturing on this bush walk.
