Now and then comparison of fig tree at Rogers Reserve

7th June 2019

A little NOW & THEN comparison of the resilience of native trees- even in drought. You may remember back in August 2015 we discovered that one of the native Fig Trees growing from an old tree stump was mysteriously cut down? It was rather strange as it wasn’t anyone from our bush-care groups or council and it was a total mystery. Fortunately whoever cut it down didn’t poison it and left to its own devices it has been re-growing. The photo on the left taken today 7th June 2019 and it’s looking amazing (albeit a different shape than it was before) nature sure is resilient!

Now and then comparison of vandalised Fig Tree Re-growth at Charles and Motee Rogers Bushland Reserve, Highfields.
